The General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare stipulates that all private (defined as profit seeking entities practicing sports activities) sport centers, clubs and services & contracting offices in the UAE have to obtain membership affiliations and registered licenses from the governing associations.

Private sports practicing institutions

MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR:
Players & Coaches
Tournament Directors, Officials, and ball kids & ball adults

SANCTIONING APPLICATIONS AND AFFILIATIONS REQUIRED FOR:
Competitions (tournaments, exhibitions)
Events, activities (camps, workshops, clinics, etc.)
New facilities, facility developer
Equipment suppliers, new equipment etc.
